Ingredients

  • 250 ml coffee
  • few slices apple
  • 1 tbsp apple syrup
  • lime zest

Instructions

  • Brew 250 ml of coffee with a few apple slices using a filter coffee maker (if possible). If using a filter coffee maker, place the apples on top of the grounds and then pour in hot water.
For French Press, place the apple with the coffee in the brewer, then pour in hot water.
  • Pour the prepared coffee into a cup, then add 25 ml of huckleberry extract and 1 tablespoon of apple syrup.
  • Garnish with lime zest and a few slices of apple. Sweeten with simple syrup and serve.

Notes

The brewing method can significantly impact the flavor and overall experience of your fruity coffee.
Filter Coffee Maker: It's perfect for achieving a smooth, clean cup where the apple infusions subtly shine through.
French Press: It offers a richer, fuller-bodied coffee that pairs beautifully with the bold flavors of huckleberry and apple.

If you’re feeling adventurous, here are a few ways to tweak this recipe:
Blueberry Twist: Swap the huckleberry extract for blueberry syrup to create a delightful blueberry coffee variation.
Iced Berry Coffee: Brew the coffee ahead of time, let it cool, and serve it over ice with the same garnishes. Perfect for summer mornings!
Cinnamon Apple Delight: Add a pinch of cinnamon to the coffee grounds or sprinkle it on top for a cozy, spiced version.
