  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 5 drops fig extract

Instructions

  • Steam 250 ml of milk with 1 teaspoon of almond extract and 5 drops of fig extract in a milk spout until it reaches 60-65°Celsius (140°-150°F), or until the bottom of the milk spout is too hot to touch. Then pour it into a cup.

Notes

While the recipe itself is simple, the brewing method you choose can significantly affect the final taste of your Almond Latte.

Here are a few options you can try:
French Press: This classic method is great for brewing rich, full-bodied coffee that will stand up to the flavors of almond and fig. The French press is also easy to use and produces a deliciously smooth coffee that enhances the latte experience.
AeroPress: If you prefer a cleaner, more concentrated coffee, the AeroPress is an excellent option. It’s quick, efficient, and produces a coffee that’s strong without being bitter—perfect for pairing with the creamy almond milk.
Espresso Machine: If you have an espresso machine, you can brew a shot of espresso for an extra bold coffee flavor. The concentrated shot will pair beautifully with the almond and fig milk, creating a rich and indulgent latte.

If you’re in the mood to experiment, here are a few variations on this recipe:
Oat Milk Latte: Swap the almond milk for oat milk to create a slightly sweeter and creamier version of the latte.
Maple Syrup: Add a drizzle of maple syrup to the milk for an extra layer of sweetness and richness.
Cinnamon Spice: Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for a cozy, spiced twist on the classic Almond Fig Latte.
